Update

You noticed how there are 3 types of EAFC26 players, the ones that like the patch, the ones that hate the patch, and the ones in the middle that just get on with it??, this patch has enhanced passing, wasn’t even bothered with the defending buff tbh, manual defend anyway as I’m a co-op rivals, but this patch has been needed since controlled dribbling was introduced in EAFC24, I think they may have gone too far with it, but it was totally needed this year, fact your complaining means you fall on the side that hates it, which means you only know 1 way to attack.

Haters - Usually think they’re pro or elite dribblers, that fidget spin, and controlled R1 turn, Pina lovers this year because AI defending was so bad you just had to plonk her in the box spin and turn a million times and if left you 1 on 1 with a defender because all the AI defenders went to the moon, aka zero skill.

Lovers - Casual players, probably average skill, like passing, probably don’t player lock but like varied passing and a little assistance with defending, know they’re not the best but love the game and like playing it.

Get on With it - People who have played for years, seen all iterations of FIFA good and bad, know how passing used to be, adapt to any patch good or bad, rely on things like L2 passing, over balls, double tap passing, power controlled passing, rely very little on R1 other than the occasional need to turn,l on a dime, player lock, off ball tracking, press and man mark, know how to defend and attack regardless, usually between 10-5/15-0 in champs.

Best suggestion, adapt get used to it, R1 is gonna get a buff again, but it won’t be what it was, it will be between, so your gonna have to learn to attack, use you noodle, ain’t no blasting noobs 10-0 anymore.
