What's the point of pre ordering if they dont deliver the promised content

Nice to see ea starting the year with another embarrassing mess , they promise extra evo slot , icon pack , premium season pass , eafc points to get you to pre order but then when the time comes you receive absolutely nothing and are met with complete silence........where's the content I paid for??????
