Critical Bug – Matches Not Counting in “Reto de Temporada 5” (PS5)
Hello EA Support,
I am reporting a critical and fully reproducible issue in EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Team on PS5.
When I play matches in the live event “Reto de Temporada 5”, the match completes normally, but immediately after the final whistle I receive the message:
“The EA servers are unable to process your request.”
I am then removed from Ultimate Team and returned to the main menu, and the match result does not count.
This happens every single time in this mode.
All other Ultimate Team modes (Champions, Rivals, Squad Battles, Rush, and other live events) work perfectly without any errors.
This is a serious issue because the event has limited daily attempts, and due to this bug I have lost more than 15 completed matches, many of them wins. I have also lost real progression toward objectives tied to future competitive events.
Before posting here, I performed extensive troubleshooting:
Wired internet connection
Changed DNS (Google and Cloudflare)
Cleared cache and rebuilt the PS5 database in Safe Mode
Restored PlayStation licenses
Deleted ALL squads and created new ones with only common gold players
Removed EVO players
Reset stadium, kits, and cosmetics
Reset online profile updates
Logged out and reconnected services
Successfully tested other modes
Nothing solved the problem.
The issue is isolated exclusively to “Reto de Temporada 5”, which strongly suggests a server-side validation error or an account-related flag affecting this event.
I have screenshots and video recordings proving that the matches are completed but not counted, and I can provide them if needed.
I respectfully ask for this case to be investigated and escalated to the appropriate technical team. This is clearly not a basic connectivity issue.
Due to the time-limited nature of this event, I would also appreciate consideration for restoring my access or compensating the lost entries.
