Re: Mass False Bans for “Balance Transfer” on PC
As the title states, the past 2 weeks or so many players on PC have been banned from the market due to "'distribution of coins'' or ''coin trading'' even though none of them were involved in such actions.
My story started last Thursday when I received an email from EA informing me that I've got banned for coin distribution which I never did, infact I've pre-ordered the ultimate version of the game, subscribed to EA play pro and bought fc point multiple times since the game's release.
When appealing to the penalty I got no response since 9/1/ 2026 and it's telling me they're ''waiting on studio'' this whole time.
I thought I was alone in this situation but was shocked to find that many PC players are suffering from the exact same ban. Some even not being banned from the market alone but the whole game!!!
As for the reason these bans are happening I've only been able to come to one conclusion which is related to a weird behaviour I've noticed on the pc market these 2 weeks. There has been a weird surge of expensive player that get listed on open bids at late times in the night (after 10:00 pm GMT) these cards are a fantastic trading opportunity since you can often get them at cheaper prices due to them being listed on open bids. I personally won a couple of bids that were supposed to land me massive profits but got banned before I got the chance to sell them all. I saw a couple of other people complaining that they got banned after winning some of these bids too. That begs the question, Is bidding considered against the policies of the game now?
The only reasoning I was able to reach is that there is a single person listing the majority of these cards on open bid and by buying more than a single card from the same person our accounts get flagged as they suspect that we're intentionally giving him coins when in realty we're just winning cards on bid cheaper than what they sell for in the market!!!
I have more than 1300 hours played on this fc alone and a big chunk of this play time was me trading on the market, I've reached 15mil transfer profit and was supposed to have 6mil coins in total before this unrightful ban was put to action, it probably dropped off alot since the market crashed and I had players I wasn't able to sell. I don't even care about that anymore, I just want to be able to use the market in TOTY like anyone else...
It is unimaginably frustrating to spend countless hours grinding to reach a point you're proud of only for the game to strip you of all the hard work you've done.
I hope me and all the players affected by this get unbanned as soon as possible.
