Transfer Market on Switch

First of all, why is the transfer market locked behind online play objectives? Second, Nintendo Switch has no one to play with, so no transfer market for us? Is there a workaround, any way to bypass this senseless new rule? Or do we just chalk it up to EA's lack of player support and move on to other games/companies?
