Player Career Match Ratings

Hello EA,

After playing player career mode for about 70 hours, I’ve noticed a main issue that has kept my enjoyment of this game pretty low compared to previous titles. Match Ratings.

Before I go into detail, I play with Legendary Difficulty Level and 7 minutes half length. I also have the gameplay type on Authentic with Dynamic AI behavior. 

MyPlayer(RM) could go on in a match scoring 1 goal and 1 assist, and his match rating won’t even get close to breaking a 8.0 rating. My Player can even have over 20 successful passes and dribbles that same match, and it’’ll hardly increase the match rating. It’s a bit frustrating too when I know my Player has been playing the best, but then one of my AI teammates with one assist that same match easily gets a higher match rating and wins the player of the match. And yes, I prefer to play realistically(or at least as realistic as possible) so scoring 5 goals every match isn’t a great solution. 

Consequently, the match rating issue makes it near impossible for me to win Team of the Week or Month. On top of that, I can’t even maintain my Manager Rating just by playing well in my matches.

Suggestion: 

• Decrease the penalty to a match rating when making a mistake (missing a shot, losing the ball in a dribble, failing a pass) 
• Increase the reward for dribbling and passing, especially when creating a good chance. 
  
  

I hope a member of the team sees this post. I had this same issue back on FC 26, so I hope it can be adjusted in a future update.
