Create a a player age hasn't changed in three years

I am a career mode player exclusively. Before saves I like to create a couple of players as youth academy players. This has become especially important to me since EA has completely botched the youth academy system and made the players look like and built completely unrealistically. 

It has been three years since they last changed the youngest age you can make a created player and the youngest is 2005. This means the youngest you can make a player is 20 going on 21. There are dozens of players in this game whose birth year is as late as 2009 or 2010, including some with face scans. 

Looking forward to this change was one of the main reasons I was excited about this game, and for the third year in a row the developers of this game have neglected to make moronically simple change. What are you doing all day? presumably someone reads these forums that have been noting this issue for years. And from what I heard the date was pushed back to 2010 in the beta.

I haven't even bought the game yet and it already feels like a disappointment.
