No need to get on the attack RapidLayout
I'm just pointing out that this happens every day of the week in professional games.
It's not against the rules not to attack, it's incredibly annoying and creates some of the most boring TV imaginable but it's so common on football that we see articles about it all the time.

HiEA_Darko ,
This isn’t an attack. I’m simply speaking from my actual experience as someone who plays your game.
What’s genuinely concerning is that you, as an EA Community Manager, seem unable to distinguish between real football tactics and the exploitation of game mechanics.
Time-wasting in real football is one thing. Exploiting gameplay mechanics to make it nearly impossible for your opponent to regain possession is something entirely different.
The fact that you keep treating these as the same thing is honestly insulting to the intelligence of the players you’re supposed to be listening to.
And frankly, your response makes me question whether you actually understand either football or the game you’re representing.
I already know EA is unlikely to fix this, but that doesn’t mean players should just accept broken mechanics or stop reporting them.
This is feedback from someone who actually paid for your product. Instead of dismissing it with comparisons to professional football, perhaps you should try understanding the problem being reported.
And one last thing, Darko.
Please stop explaining football to football fans, especially when your own responses suggest you can’t tell the difference between football tactics and broken game mechanics.
We’re not asking you to teach us football. We’re asking EA to understand its own game.

No need to be rude and dismissive RapidLayout
As I said already, happy to pass the feedback on to the team about this.
But keeping the ball in your possession isn't exploiting game mechanics, yes it can be frustrating and boring but it occurs in real-world games every day of the week.

Hi Darko,
I find it disappointing that when a paying customer raises concerns about flaws in the game, the response is to label their feedback as rude or dismissive.
Since when did pointing out problems with a product become disrespectful? Why should customers be made to feel like they’re the ones doing something wrong simply for criticizing a game they’ve paid for?
You mentioned that you’re happy to pass the feedback along to the team, and I appreciate that. But if you’re genuinely open to receiving feedback, why respond by criticizing the customer instead of addressing the actual issue?
I’m not attacking you personally. I’m questioning the game’s mechanics and how EA handles these problems. There’s a difference between being critical of a product and being disrespectful toward someone.
I understand that keeping possession and wasting time happen in real football. That’s never been my argument. My concern is about players exploiting the limitations of the game’s mechanics to avoid meaningful gameplay for almost an entire match.
Repeating that “it happens in real football” doesn’t address that concern.
As a customer, I believe I have every right to raise these issues without being made to feel that I’m the problem.
Feedback isn’t always going to be positive, and criticism shouldn’t automatically be treated as disrespect.
I hope EA can recognize that distinction and focus on the actual gameplay issue rather than the fact that a customer is unhappy with it.

Going to go ahead and lock this now RapidLayout to stop my comments being taken out of context.
We will pass your feedback around this on to the team but I don't think it is something that will be changed.
