I would like to suggest a new rule to make FC 27 more fair, competitive and enjoyable.

When a player is winning near the end of a match, they can waste time by passing the ball between their defenders instead of trying to play football. This makes it very frustrating for the opponent, especially when they are only one goal behind.

For example, I was losing 6–5 after scoring in the 86th minute. My opponent then kept passing the ball around in his defence until the match ended. I tried to press him, but my AI-controlled players did not help enough.

Here is my suggestion:

• If a player repeatedly wastes time in their own defence, the game should give them a warning.
• If they continue deliberately wasting time, the opposing team should receive a free kick at the location where the time-wasting occurred.
• The game should also improve defensive AI pressing when a team needs to win the ball back late in a match.
• Normal defensive play and possession should not be punished.

I believe this would make FC 27 more exciting, fair and competitive, and encourage players to actually play football instead of wasting time.
