One of the most exciting additions I would love to see in EA SPORTS FC is a dedicated 2v2 Champions Weekend League.
We already have Champions as a highly competitive weekly mode, but imagine taking that experience to the next level by allowing players to compete side-by-side with a friend.
⚽ How It Would Work
Instead of the traditional 1v1 format, EA could introduce a completely separate Champions competition built specifically around 2v2 matches.
- Two players team up with their friends.
- Every match is strictly 2v2.
- Players compete against another duo — no 1v1, no 2v3, no mixed formats.
- The competition could take place during the same weekend as Champions.
- Teams could earn wins, progress through different stages, and receive exclusive rewards based on their performance.

Football is about teamwork, communication and chemistry — and a 2v2 competitive mode would bring those elements into FC in a completely different way.
Imagine playing Champions with your best friend, communicating during every attack, covering for each other defensively, celebrating important goals together and trying to climb the rankings as a team.
It would create a completely different competitive experience from standard Champions.
Players wouldn't just be competing against their opponents — they would also have to develop chemistry with their teammate, understand each other's playstyles and work together to win.
