Fix the passing

I hate to repeat myself, I've already posted this. But you need reminding. It 100% is not a skill issue. My settings for passing are precisely the same from last year, yet my player loves to ignore the direction that I am passing and pass directly at a defender. when I am working the wing, instead of passing to direction that I am aiming at a player in the box, my player will pass directly to the keeper. Also, through balls are cancelled, as far I am concerned, it is BEYOND broken.... the amount of times I have seen a player pass a through ball on a wide open breakaway, just to completely overshoot it's destination straight into the keeper's hands in a very bizarre manner is absolutely astounding. These are professional ball players we are using, who cannot make elementary level passes. I can get off the couch and make those passes.  Again, this is not a skill issue. This is EA trolling us.
