Issue with the menu for promoting players from the youth squad

After promoting a player from the youth squad to the first team, the first-team roster appears on the screen. When you try to go back, instead of returning to the youth squad view, it just reverts to the general squad screen. I still want to bring up more players from the youth setup, but I have to go back through the menu to select them again. Why do we have to go through that hassle?
