Subject: Identical Kits in FUT Champions: A Longstanding Competitive Issue

Dear EA SPORTS FC Development Team,

I am writing to raise a complaint about the recurring issue of both teams wearing identical or extremely similar kits in online matches, particularly in FUT Champions.

This is an issue that has persisted for years, yet it continues to affect the competitive experience. In the attached screenshot, taken during a FUT Champions match, both teams are wearing virtually identical bright yellow kits. Distinguishing my players from my opponent’s becomes unnecessarily difficult.

In a competitive mode where split-second decisions, defensive positioning and player recognition are crucial, this is more than a cosmetic inconvenience. It directly interferes with gameplay and can put players at an unfair disadvantage.

What makes this particularly frustrating is that kit clashes should be preventable through a reliable kit-selection or clash-detection system. The game should automatically ensure sufficient visual contrast between both teams before an online match begins, with an option for players to select an alternative kit when necessary.

I rarely submit complaints, but this issue has persisted for far too long without a satisfactory solution. It is especially unacceptable in FUT Champions, where matches are competitive and every decision matters.

I would like the development team to acknowledge this issue and explain what steps are being taken to prevent identical or visually indistinguishable kits from appearing in online matches.

Players should not have to compromise their ability to play the game because the kit-selection system has failed to ensure adequate contrast.

I hope this feedback receives serious consideration and leads to a lasting fix.
