Please Stop Limiting Us to Preset Formations — Let Us Create Our Own

Every year we are limited to EA’s preset formations: 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-3-3, etc. We can change tactics and roles, but we still have to build everything around one of those predefined shapes.

Please give us a Custom Formation option where we can manually move each player on the tactical board and decide exactly where we want them positioned.

For example, in a 4-1-4-1, I might want to move the two CMs closer to my striker, essentially turning them into CAMs. I should be able to select each player on the formation screen and move them to the exact position where I want them to play, rather than being locked into EA’s preset positioning or changing the roles which is not giving you what you exactly need from the player. 

Give us the preset formations for convenience, but also give us the freedom to move players around and create our own formation exactly how we want it. That’s what tactical customization should be.
