Show the Referee blowing the Final Whistle

At the end of matches, we never see the referee blow the final whistle. Usually the whistle sounds, players drop the ball and start walking away.

In real football broadcasts, the camera often cuts to the referee as they raise their arm, bring the whistle to their mouth and signal the end of the match.

It’s a very small presentation detail, but showing the referee actually ending the game — especially after big matches, finals or dramatic finishes — would make the final whistle feel much more authentic.

Thanks, Darko, really appreciate you passing it on! I’d also love to get your thoughts on an idea I posted about completely improving the preseason experience in Career Mode.

Right now, every season we receive three preseason tournament invitations, choose one, and play against teams that have already been selected. After several Career Mode seasons, it becomes very repetitive.

Instead, we could have the option to create and host our own preseason tournament. We choose the clubs we want to invite, and they can accept or reject depending on our club reputation, league, prize money offered, and possibly the other clubs participating. The prize money could come from our own club transfer budget, so attracting bigger teams would actually require an investment.

We could also have the freedom to arrange individual home or away friendlies instead of entering a tournament.

I think this could turn preseason from something many players quickly get through into an actual management experience — planning opponents, managing the cost, attracting clubs, testing the squad, and making every preseason different.

Happy to pass the feedback on r7zamt

Assume the reason we don't see it is because when playing, we're not watching a game like at home, we're playing it, so it makes sense to hear rather than see the final whistle.
