I revived an email last night stating I am officially singed up for the closed beta. And to watch my inbox for incoming codes in the near days. Does that mean I have been selected or have I just been put forward to be selected. Hopefully someone can help me.

This means that you are getting a code within the next 2-3 days because the beta starts on the 5th
How to register to the beta
Congratulations! It sounds like you've successfully registered for the FC 27 Closed Beta, but it doesn't necessarily mean you've been selected to participate yet.
The confirmation email is usually just letting you know that your registration has been received. If you're chosen for the beta, EA will send a separate email containing your beta code and instructions on to access it.
