We need a server near Toronto
EA Sports FC has a large and active player base in Toronto, yet many of us consistently experience high latency (MS), packet loss, and unstable gameplay in Ultimate Team. These network issues have a significant impact on the experience, making matches feel delayed, inconsistent, and, at times, unplayable.
This is not an isolated issue. Across community forums, social media, and player discussions, many Toronto and Ontario players report facing the same problems despite having fast, stable fibre internet connections. Players frequently mention that gameplay quality varies dramatically from one match to another, with delayed inputs, sluggish player movement, speed-up lag, and packet loss affecting competitive play.
Ultimate Team is EA Sports FC’s flagship online mode, where responsiveness and connection quality are essential. When players with reliable internet are consistently experiencing poor network performance, it raises concerns about server routing, server capacity, or regional infrastructure.
We hope EA will investigate the connectivity issues affecting players in the Toronto region and work toward improving server performance and routing. A smoother, more stable online experience would greatly benefit the large EA Sports FC community in Toronto and ensure that matches are decided by skill rather than connection quality.
