مشاكل تغيير السيرفر في الاردن

Hello EA Support,

I am a player in Jordan using Zain Fiber internet. Until recently, my ping in EA SPORTS FC 27 was around 8 ms. Today, it suddenly increased to a stable 66 ms.

At approximately the same time, other Zain Fiber players in Jordan, including players in my area, reported the same issue. The recommended matchmaking region now shows Southern Europe 1, whereas we previously experienced much lower ping when connecting through the Middle East region.

My general connection quality is still excellent, so this appears to be potentially related to game data center selection or network routing rather than a general internet speed issue.

Could you please investigate whether there has been a change in matchmaking regions, game data center routing, or connectivity affecting Zain Fiber users in Jordan?

We would appreciate it if the issue could be investigated and the previous low-latency connection restored if possible.

Thank you.

  • Adding another report from Jordan on PlayStation, using Mada internet.

My usual ping was a stable 8 ms and was still normal on Friday, 23 October 2026. On Saturday, 24 October, it increased to a stable approximately 70 ms. I tested a second internet provider on the same PlayStation and got essentially the same ping. This is a consistently higher baseline, not intermittent ping spikes.

Together with the Zain Fiber report above, this suggests the issue may affect more than one provider in Jordan. The cause is not yet confirmed. I suspect a change in game data center selection or routing, but I have not independently verified the server location or that the Tel Aviv data center is unavailable. The timing alone also does not prove that Friday's maintenance caused it.

EA team: please investigate data center selection and regional connectivity for players in Jordan, including access to the Tel Aviv data center, and escalate these reports to the connectivity team. Please let us know whether this is a known issue and what diagnostic information would help.

Other affected players: please add your country, internet provider, platform, usual/current ping, when it started, and whether testing another provider changes the result. This would help establish the scope of the issue.

  • Additional player reports for EA's connectivity team to compare:

    1) Moscow / European data centers: a PS5 player reports 42-44 ms via Frankfurt, versus 23-25 ms via Warsaw when using a Polish VPN route. Their issue reportedly began in late July / early August, so it predates our October 24 change. The same discussion includes a Finnish player reporting an increase from 20-30 to 30-45 ms. These are player-reported measurements, not independently verified findings.

    2) Dammam, Saudi Arabia: a PC player on Salam fiber reports 90-112 ms and provides packet-capture details identifying a Frankfurt endpoint, despite closer listed Middle East data centers.

    3) A recent Reddit report describes a sustained increase from 18-21 to 35-43 ms. The cause and server location are unverified.

These reports differ in dates, regions and testing, so they do not establish a single outage or common cause. Please compare them when investigating data-center selection, routing and the new Jordan latency increase. Could a community manager forward this discussion to the networking team and advise which diagnostics are needed?
