Disconnected from the game

This actually grinds my gear. My WiFi connection is okay like it’s in good condition. However, one in 16 games (squad battles) so offline I’m in the middle of playing my game then it disconnects and takes me back to the menu, then for the game to say it’s me who’s left and I’ve lost 3-0 as if I’ve forfeited. It only does my head in because I lose squad battle points, I get 0. It always happens in one in every 10 games ish. It was doing it at the end of fc26 too

    Hi there. Is the game freezing and then disconnecting as mentioned in this thread or are you just getting a disconnect message without the freeze?

    Also, have you tried switching to a wired connection?

    Hi, my WiFi is okay I haven’t got any other WiFi. The message comes up as “disconnected return to the main menu” then I’m disconnected. Then the squad games comes up as DNF and I gain no points as it counts as a loss

    As a test, could you move close enough to use a wire? It would be good to see if this improves your connection since wireless is very well known to more frequently experience disconnects and lag.

    I have moved closer to the WiFi and used wired LAN cable and it’s still happening. It’s happened just now, I was playing squad battles I was on 85th minute and it disconnected me so it counted as DNF and I got 0 points. It’s just not fair at this point

    As long as you remain on a wireless connection, disconnects and lag will be far more common than being on a wired connection. If the router is too far, I recommend looking in to powerline adaptors. Those can be a great solution for this.

    This isn't people's internet that's causing this an it's frustrating seeing this manager tell people to to go wired/trouble shoot ect... when it's a ea issue that's causing all these disconnections 🙄

    Hi Mate, same is happening to me too. There is no way i can get hold of EA live chat too. It started happening at the end of fc26. Like you said its so unfair and its rare i can get through a full game! Even on the menus i disconnect. Surely there is a way to fix this? They just keep telling me its my wifi when its perfectly good
