Extremely long loading times in Ultimate Team
Hi,
I’m experiencing extremely long loading times in EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team on PS5.
The problem mainly occurs when using the Ultimate Team menus. For example:
- Opening the Transfer Market
- Listing or selling a player
- Opening the Store
- Opening SBCs
- Moving between different Ultimate Team menus
The loading circle often stays on screen for a very long time before the menu finally responds. Sometimes it takes so long that it feels like the game is stuck.
What makes this especially strange is that this problem has been happening to me since previous FIFA/EA SPORTS FC games. It is not something that started only with FC 27.
I have already tested the following:
- My PS5 is connected normally to my home internet.
- I also tested FC 27 using my phone’s mobile hotspot, but the exact same problem occurs.
- I tested another EA account on the exact same PS5, and Ultimate Team works normally on that account.
- The problem therefore appears to be specific to my EA account or Ultimate Team profile rather than my PS5 or internet connection.
I have experienced this issue for years, across multiple FIFA/FC games, and it is always specifically related to Ultimate Team menus.
Has anyone else experienced the same account-specific issue, or does anyone know how to fix it? Could an EA community manager please check whether there could be an issue with my EA account or Ultimate Team profile?
