Kind of delay using Ultimate Scream Card

I bought Ultimate Scream Saïd El Mala like 2 days ago, and using him in my first matches was amazing—good body type, amazing sprint, and power shots, absolute beast. But suddenly the next day, I launched EA FC and I started feeling a horrible delay in my game. I tried a lot of solutions, and nothing helped. So obviously I started feeling El Mala felt so bad in-game because of that, but then I tried just switching him to Rashford on my team and the delay disappeared completely. Tbh, I'm new to UT; do this kind of bugs happen every year with new promotion cards, or is it just my case? It's a bit sad because using that card was very fun and I also spent 300 UT Scream coins, but well...
