Back again to go out of my way to give feedback to this game. Well deserved feedback. Game will never be good.
First of all, manual tackling is non existent. It’s so bad that people are just playing the pathway for an interception . Crazy OP how it’s so easy to intercept the ball.
Too many broken tackles, the player is on ice skates when someone does something so simple like ball roll or R1 + analog. When I actually get the tackle, it goes back to their player or I pass it and the same attacker intercepts like it has magnet. It’s much easier to get the ball when you press X to tackle. Manual defending is non rewarding
I do like how it’s more manual it is to defend. It’s just ridiculously bad. Attackers have smoother movement.
One thing I’ll add about AI defending is that it’s ridiculous how they pass the ball to their guy and the ball goes right in between the legs of my defender. Do you know stupid that it is? Let him have Anticipate+ or intercept though and all of a sudden it’s easy. My AI defenders are always trying to keep their attackers onside. And then I try to switch to that defender and you already know trash switching is in this game so when I get to that player, it’s already too late.
Passing is so inconsistent. I hate that yall pick and choose what’s going to be a successful pass or a fail depending on situation.
Example, If I have the ball and there’s two of my attackers close to each other and in front of me, one has a slightly better opportunity to score than the other, and I aim right in between both to pass, guess where the ball is going to? The one who’s not going to score. This happens always in the final 3rd of the opponent.
if I was in the midfield or defense with the same situation. It would go to the player who’s more open.
Formations are another thing. I’ve tried so many formations because I wanted to fit players I want to play with and maaaaaan it’s actually so bad. Too many spaces, and I’m left exposed everytime. My players are always next to their defenders. Like literally on my players like he has press all game. 95th depth is stupid OP. People who use that just defend by spamming Offside trap. No skill in that.
The switching in this is game is the worst that I have ever seen. Specifically with the right analog. It was much better last year. I have tried classic, adaptive. Classic is a little better but both still horrible. It feels like it had a delay when trying to switch. It always switches to your worst option. I swear this game is backwards.
GKs are so bad. The same goal every time, which is hitting the near post and the GK just has no answer to it. Courtois is by far the worst GK in this game. He lets anything in and in the most ridiculous way. How does his tallass get beat everytime in his near post. It’s too easy to score. Also I swear when I try it, it hits the post because their GK actually plays closer to near post. I noticed that they do a little feint to the opposite side of where they’re aiming right before they shoot. Courtois is horrible overall. They don’t have the angle to shoot and somehow it still goes in.
Again the shooting also depends on the situation. I’m tired of this ping pong game. I score, he score, I score again, he scores again on kick off. What do yall do to the defense that makes it so easy to score on kick off. My players feel slow, the switching feels delayed and my AI just opens up. It’s crazy
What’s funny is that they don’t score when it’s tied but as soon as I’m up or the other player is up. Boom! Goal!
but yeah just keep denying the thing that everyone accused yall of doing.
Too many games where the game is “I score, you score.”
This game will never be good.
I feel like I’m missing more, im sure I’ll remember once I play this garbage game again. I don’t even know why I bother but whatever. Y’all can’t keep getting away with this.
