Yup. I was going to say it if you didn’t. Quality control has flown right out the window at EA. They has TOTW Araujo listed as ST all last week and never bothered to correct, so can’t say I have much faith that they’ll address this.

Bro this proves that you don't watch football. Araujo played as a ST in Barcelona's match (Against Girona) & scored a goal too. That's why EA have given him a ST card (like the GK card Giroud also got in FC24). It's not a bug like you think.

But the answer for the question is Nakata not Namami also Nakata was the MVP in 2000

Just because a CB pushes up to the 9 for the final minutes of a match does not make him a ST, lol! Look at the player attributes. Are you seriously going to stick this guy in your lineup as a ST? Heck no! You can defend EA by arguing “it’s not a bug,” but it doesn’t make this card any less worthless. So, you can “bro” me all you like (it just shows I’m probably twice as old as you and have DEFINITELY watched more football than you ever will), but my point remains — it’s a flawed card.

Yea it definitely looks like a CB card eh... U're speaking lik if Giroud played the whole match as GK. I call everyone bro be it younger or elder, if you don't want tht respect I'll take it back. Also why do you even care abt ts Arajou card, u're speaking as if u're gonna place him in ur lineup. Nobody complained abt Araujo, u're the only one who's yapping abt it. This thread is abt the trivia questions, stop typing unrelated topics.

Read my comment again. The first thing I said was I agreed with the original post (that EA screwed up the trivia question) and that I would have posted about it if they hadn’t beaten me to it. So, no, I wasn’t commenting off topic.
My second comment (about Araujo) was simply drawing the connection between the trivia error and what I saw as a larger pattern of errors in EA’s recent work (most recently with Araujo). Quibble if you like with whether the Araujo card was an “error” or just a stupid effort by EA to be “cute” (because Araujo had played a handful of minutes out of position and scored a goal—he MUST, therefore be a striker!), but my larger point still stands: EA has been off it’s game and handing us second-rate crap for quite a while. The update they launched with the new season was/is buggy as hell, and they’ve made little to no attempt to fix it. The Araujo business is, by comparison, small potatoes (as you note, I’ll never put a TOTW player in my starting lineup!), but the way I see it it’s all part of a larger pattern of EA failing to attend to details—like listening to community feedback and fixing the stuff that matters to us. They’re so intent on producing cheesy new events that game mechanics have gone totally neglected. That’s pretty annoying all on its own (because what good are new players if the matches are glitchy?), but it becomes truly galling when they can’t even get the cheesy events right. I mean if you’ve decided to lean into trivia (instead of actual matchplay) then the least you can do is proofread the questions. But they can’t even get that right!
As far as the off topic criticism goes… Look in the mirror, my friend, You’re the one who decided to pick nits and drag us into this sidebar. All I’ve done is defend and clarify my original comment. If you really care that much about the purity of the thread then just let it drop, lol! (But what are the chances of that when you’ve got to be right and I’ve got to be wrong?)
