Same issue for me, Im from India
Today yet again we can t access ads. Tried force stop, empty cache, restart phone. Nothing works except reinstalling the whole app. And that is not an acceptable work arouns. In the meantime, we are loosing thw F2P benefits we really nees by not being able to watch those ads.
Please provide a correct solution to this issue.

I've just fixed mine
Reinstalled the game again
Clucked the grey ads about 5 times and it's given me ads
I have reinstalled the game yesterday and it was ok, and today it does not work anymore ! WTF ? What amateurism !
Thx bro, I did the same , just clicking 4 - 5 time on gray ads button and ads will be shown
