UCL TOURNAMENT skill moves

Product: EA SPORTS FC Mobile
Platform:Apple iPad
What's your device's make and model? Apple IPad 9th generation (2021)
What's your device's firmware? iOS 17
What is your game version? 20.1.02
In what game mode did the bug occur? Live Event
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What happens when the bug occurs? This only occurs when I play the UCL tournament event. I cannot use any skills except the base double-tap skill when pressing the skill button. All the other swipe skills do not appear. I believe this has only occurred since the most recent update.
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 21:01

I cannot use any skills except the base double-tap skill when pressing the skill button. All the other swipe skills do not appear. I believe this has only occurred since the most recent update. This has nothing do do with the players star skills and what they are able to do as I have tried multiple teams and have ran in to the same issue.

I have also played regular games in live events, H2H and VSA and there isn’t a problem with the skill button.

As you can see with the images I have attached, there aren’t any arrows on my skill button so the only skills I can do with each player are the default ‘double-tap’ skills.

    @5tgzypzfargq I also encountered the same problem and it only appears in UCL tournament mode.
    @mendozzamagic could you check with the team since you're the only bright spot of this forum 😉

    Same here! Really hard to complete the challenges with a three star team in Legendary when the players only have a default skill move! Give me back my skill moves :-)

    Ok. So this seems to only be a problem when you are the away team. When you are the home team all the skill moves work.

    Is this by design (to make away games harder) or a bug?!?

    Every update you would think it is fixed… but… no.


    This is still an issue and has been it for weeks now.

    Do you know when it’s gonna be fixed since the game came out the bug haven’t been fix

    @Chris1079 It’s on the list of fixes - hopefully soon as it is frustrating a lot of people who can’t complete the quests now

    @5tgzypzfargq I think the skill dont work during away matches. When you play as home team you'll be able to do the skills but during away games only the assigned skill works.

    @totynationfm Yep - it’s a known issue - not sure when a fix will come … I think most people have stopped playing it, so it’s not high priority for the team 🫤
