Just out of curiosity… by how many goals did YOU win the final game of the Anniversary Weekend Challenge? My maxed out 106 ovr team played that match 11 times and lost 11 times
I lost 11 times - not because I suck, not because I need help with the game, not because I need a better team - not because of anything but the fact that EA doesn’t want me to win that match, so they decided to make AI unbeatable
Some of the Icon Chronicle matches are challenging now, which I enjoy. I agree, winning 12-0 on auto is not fun. I don’t mind a challenge that is beatable - beatable being the key word
But I can’t imagine many people were able to win that Weekend Challenge. But please share your experience with that particular match
Happy to. Played weekend challenge on second day. Needed two attempts for last game. First game ended in a draw and my penalty game needs some work. Second game was a success. Scored 3 in 70 minutes or so and played more cautious after that because Liverpools front 3 are quite deadly on the counter. What did I get for my efforts? My third 92 Umtiti, great 😐. My 102 team and formation worked fine but wing play is less effective. Wingers are used to spread out the defence trying to find a runner with a ground pass.
Well, having played that match 11 times with my 106 ovr team with all players at training level 30, that’s actually quite impressive - I too use that formation. I like that 4-3-3A
Good job, Sir! You definitely have better skills than I do 😂 Everytime I played that final match, it felt like the AI could predict my every move, so no matter what I did on offense, it was dismantled and then they countered and kept scoring, coz my defense were unable to stop them (not fast enough)
But keep in mind, the average player who doesn’t play hours daily and isn’t in FC1 or FC2 will NOT have fun with this one and their phones are in serious danger of ending smashed against the wall 😝
And yeah, the rewards should have been boosted too 😂 Going through all that for a 3,000,000 coins player is rough, my guy 😂
@KeNiel_0023 must be the excessive play time during Covid. Used to play way more when the game design was more engaging. Now I play maybe 30 minutes every other day. Stopped spending too, no point. There is no advantage, it’s all pack luck. Star pass is all stuff I neither need or want. OVR is only good for VSA, irrelevant for everything else. Stats and correct work rate are way more important.
Pretty happy with my team just now. Reus excels in pve. Haaland is good in h2h but mainly in the way in pve, but I like the zen 🧘 celebration.

U won somehow, show other records, maybe it can be fake
95% people losing and 5% winning, if u want to say that's the sizeable part of player base who r wanting to make game more hard then ea should continue with u and them leaving us in void, right? And I'm also with many top level players except kids like u who want to create fight on chats showing fake pictures or pictures of winning somehow in 20% of their matches . Even that experts said that this is extreme, the hardness is hard to believe , also idk which player base said to increase game hardness, maybe in ur imagination
