- @eoibqpw0vpnp um - yeah - not sure you understand the concept of it being a game that you play to have fun and score goals … I mean how many real life Euro matches have been won with 5-10 goals scored 🤷♀️
I get that you don’t want it to be ridiculous, but if you wanted realism then you would probably remove skill moves altogether and make it near impossible to score @mendozzamagic Lol, how did you come to the conclusion that if he wants more realism then he would remove all the skill moves? It is not even what he meant so why manipulate just to blindly defend? If your finger is cut, do you cut off your whole hand to fix it? What kind of a logic is that? Also, it is not even the skill moves itself, lol..
um - yeah - not sure you understand the concept of skill moves giving an unfair advantage when they are used. Not the skill moves itself but what happens after. Once it’s used(Heel to Heel Flick or Elastico and few others), it gives an instant speed boost to the player and that player becomes almost unstoppable. Once something is unstoppable and inevitable, how can you have fun with it?
No one wants to “remove all the skill moves” but the meaningless speed boost after the skill moves are used. Please read twice before commenting. To comment just for the sake of commenting is not helpful to anyone, especially commenting to manipulate.

@mendozzamagic Remove the ridiculous skill moves and it's still relatively easy to score depending on the person's skill level...If they can't score then it's on them to get better..
Making skill moves overpowered to the extreme pushes the gameplay from being a skill level playstyle and exploring different ways to score, to a meta abuse where almost every single person playstyles becomes the same, and a playstyle that is not only unrealistic, if successful there's no chance of recovery...and it's not even fun to play against.
As much as I want the gameplay to be realistic, at least make the gameplay to be more skill oriented.. and if you think scoring goals equals having fun then you have the wrong idea about football..

@eoibqpw0vpnp Realism was never a concept in gaming but I agree the skill moves desperately need to be nerfed. Most cross spammers have switched to skill spammers. But you'll probably have to wait another six years cuz that's what it took to nerf crossing.

@mendozzamagic Maybe you didn't know but watching people spam something that is near unstoppable as you can do nothing about it, is not really fun is it?
- @ballknowledge77 Quite possibly - I don’t really play h2h much because of distance lag, so have not experienced that.
I was just responding to the notion that the skill moves are not realistic … I mean, the majority of it is not realistic, but whatever you put forward there are going to be players that work out how to try and exploit it, and players that work out how to combat the exploits.
Cross spam was a bit hard because it was way too easy to score because the defenders were not properly attacking crosses, skill move spam is defendable (from what I am told by h2h gurus) … apparently the trick is not to slide or sprint, but to sit back and take them on as they perform the move.
(I can’t do it because my lag is so bad I have almost no control, but maybe give it a try) - ballknowledge7712 months agoRising Traveler
@mendozzamagic These h2h gurus were also saying that it's possible to defend cross spam if you don't give space to the winger/fullback and have a tall defender, but even so crossing had a unfair advantage because every cross had extra speed and accuracy, it makes defending extra difficult...so it needed to be nerfed.
Same thing for skill spam, people will say you can do this and that to counter, but the fact remains that some skill moves give an instant speed boost with high stun that makes defending a living hell...doing these skill moves takes little skill but defending them takes high skill and luck and even that may not be enough..
You say that there are players who try to combat the exploit, but shouldn't the dev team also try to balance out the exploits as much as possible?
