Cheating or just better?

Maybe I’m just getting worse at the game , but it seems that almost 75% of players I get in head to head are inexplicably winning against me. I’m maxed out (OVR 104, all lvl 30), but get beat by low levels (not even trained). They are faster to ball, spaces and stronger, and defend in droves, while my team seems to walk from the halfway line. Any shot goes in, while I get GK saves, blocks and posts or going wide. This has definitely gotten worse recently, and is making the game completely unenjoyable. Reporting probably does nothing as I suppose it’s hard to prove, and not worth the hassle for EA.

Maybe a suggestion that for Div Rivals can match make/play against league or friends instead of the cesspool of cheats out there…Alternatively, some verification process?

Update…I think EA have actually done something about it!&nbsp;Got an in game message saying they detected abnormal activity in opponent.Credit where it is due - well done EA👏🏽

@c993609af4d8ee4e the prevailing cheat utilises disconnection and score manipulation, it does not impact gameplay on completed matches.

Chances are you are experiencing server slowness and/or something is impacting your connection (usually traffic between you and the server).

If the h2h gameplay is always like you describe (laggy/slow to respond) then it is likely an issue of distance from the server, and there is not much that you can do about that (sorry)

I hear you. I’ve encountered what you describe maybe a couple of times.

Im not sure about the server explanation, as presumably the AI will be unaffected - I am in a large European city, so assume that is unlikely.

TBH if people are that invested in finding ways to cheat, they have much greater problems in life…

I also experienced same problem today. I have somewhat good team with 105 ovr and every first team player trained to level 30. And usually I know how server-distance-lagness looks like.. This today was awful. I tapped FIVE times on changing player button, worked only on sixth time. And tap button for skill move did not worked at all in three or four cases. I lost to 97 ovr and manage to draw against another 97 ovr.
