@pelicanos yeah - that was a good event - until you got nearer the end and had to win something like 20 in a row with varying near-impossible requirements to progress.
I think the reason they don’t have something like that now is more of a resourcing issue to set it all up rather than whether it makes money for them … but yes, in a business every decision intimately comes down to profit.licensing is also different now - without the exclusive FIFA arrangement there are sides and leagues that they have more limited scope than in the past 🫤
