Gameplay is worst than 6 months ago but ovr team rating is way better and player have way more stats
passing is so bad ball go off the field 20 times per game playing right now with player who have less speed than 150 is pointless
The team is looking into it, but don’t expect a quick fix as it is no point fixing AI passing only to break user controlled passing again

To put it differently, there is indeed no contradiction between AI and player passing. However, AI passing in head-to-head matches is consistently poor, regardless of the player being used. On a separate note, I believe this issue is not solely attributed to AI performance but rather a mistake made by EA. Currently, a passing tendency of 3 yields the same passing rate as a passing tendency of 1, and a crossing tendency of 3 is equivalent to a crossing tendency of 1. In the past, passing in manager mode was already poor, but now it has worsened significantly. Considering these factors, do you still think it can be solely attributed to AI performance?

I comprehend and fully agree that some players may express the need for adjustments in AI passing to ensure fairness in H2H matches.
According to certain players, the adjusted passing system in H2H matches has inadvertently affected the passing mechanics in Manager mode, resulting in issues. Since the passing system is shared across all three modes, it raises the question: if there has been an overall passing change, why does the AI passing in H2H mode consistently outperform the AI passing in Manager mode, regardless of the player or tactics employed?
Additionally, if the passing system has undergone a systemic change, it should not be a matter of incorrect data representation. However, it seems that even when using a one-bar passing input, the resulting pass number remains the same as a three-bar pass. Moreover, the crossing tendency in Manager mode still appears to be higher with a one-bar crossing input compared to a three-bar crossing input.

Currently, there has been a significant reduction in AI passing in Manager mode due to natural passing mechanics.
However, it is important to address the concerns regarding the effectiveness of goal kicks, long-distance free kicks, and wingers retaining possession.
Firstly, it seems that almost 80% of goal kicks result in simply passing the ball to the opposing team. Similarly, long-distance free kicks often provide an advantage to the opponent, with a higher likelihood of passing the ball to them directly.
Furthermore, when wingers attempt to retain possession during a wing attack, regardless of the passing distance and crossing tendency being set to 1, they often immediately cross the ball, resulting in a turnover to the opposing team. It's worth noting that even if the ball is passed to the striker, the nerfed heading mechanics make it difficult to execute successful headers.
- mendozzamagic7 months agoHero+@cd2yst37a7tt Yes mate - the changes to the passing mechanics have messed up AI passing in all game modes, it is just more evident in manager mode as it is all AI all the time, meaning that both sides are doing it.
The team is well aware that it is messed up and is working on it … when they have a reliable fix that won’t break user controlled passing as well, then I am sure that they will implement it.
If you particularly like manager mode though, go over to the App Store or Play Store and see if EA Tactical Football is available in your region yet … it is like manager mode, but with may more control over your teams tactics/decisions etc- 6 months ago
