Is anyone else struggling to play H2H matches? My wifi connection is fine, speeds are in the high 300's, my ping is a steady 32 to 35ms. Yet in every match I play my players move so slow. They take forever to accelerate into their sprints. All Of my players are ranked at least twice and most are ranked up 4x. they are also at least trained to 10, all the way to 20. So their Paces are high, yet I will make a move past my opponents player who is in a dead sprint towards my player, so once I beat them I should have plenty of time to accelerate to my players top speed, but somehow that same opponents player somehow stops turns and get right back in front of my player who some how has only taken a few steps forward. It makes no sense. I haven't been able to win a H2H match for a few days now. I have been playing this game since its start, so I know how to play. My opponent usually is just using one player to chance my player with the ball and they are always holding down the sprint button. I'll make a cut or change of direction and their player will instantly stop on a dime even with my player and stay step for step with my player. I'm usually not using the sprint button so that I have more control of my player and can enter into a sprint faster then his player to get away from them. Yet I'm not able to do any of this. But my opponent is. I'll pull their players out of position with my passing and have them chase my players. I then pass the into the open space their player has vacated, somehow their player beats my passes and shuts down any chance of me being able to move the ball. None of my players are able to do what any of what I have describe of my opponents players doing.
Also why is it that we can't in-game report the people I play in the PVP challenge mode H2H matches? The majority of cheaters I come across are in this game mode. They cheat becasue they know we can't report them.
@mendozzamagic I never noticed the match history icon at the bottom right, thank you. What I found interesting today after playing 4 rounds of the monthly PVP challenge was that the people I suspect of cheating that I played against, none of them played h2h in DR. They were all still in the either Amateur or Pro. Yet they all played like they were in the top 50 of FC Champion. Pretty impressive to be that good and never actually play the game mode. I finished under the top 100 in H2H last season, I'm not so easy to beat, yet I couldn't even move the ball forward out of my end of the half the whole match against these people. I'd win the ball in the backend of my half, play the ball to my RM, then instantly switch sides of the field to my LM. Who is wide open with the closest defender 10-15 yards away, only to somehow loose the ball before my player settles it.
I'm just getting really fed up with the cheaters in the game and it doesn't seem like EA will be doing anything about it. It was a huge problem last season and already looks like it will be more of the same this season.
To back up what @JFlav09 and @Sanyosa have said, there’s been a huge difference in h2h gameplay since the first couple months of the season. Lately (maybe past few weeks but even more so recently) my opponents have been able to press with 3, 4 or more of their players at a time. (I am not able to do the same despite trying). They have been able to press with the lead. Opponents men are glued to my players so they are inescapable when I have the ball. Their players are reacting to my movements and passes faster than is capable for me to do anything about. Throughout the entirety of the match. It’s basically full press the whole match for them. The last night I played, opponents were kicking off before replays had even finished for me. This isn’t a one night only phenomenon for me otherwise I wouldn’t bother mentioning. H2h play has basically reverted for me to how it was 2 seasons ago. I’m not a new or even relatively new player. I made fifa champion before last reset. Im ranting at this point and I don’t really want to do that. I have other gripes about the events and the way top cards are randomly distributed but ultimately h2h made up for that. I just don’t have a reason to play now. I know that everyone here is here to help and cares about the game and I’m sure that those who work for ea want an engaging and fair game. But it no longer works for me and I don’t have hope of it changing.
