Yep. I started playing the game around a month or so ago. I've asked about these things from here as well. It seems no one is interested, so I received no replies except from the head honcho Mendozzamagic.
So, what I've found out through these few hundred games is that there seems indeed to be a system (many many people seem to call this the "script") of controlling the success of a given FC Mobile user in both H2H and VSA,, perhaps to level things out and not give any player advantage. I have no idea how this works but this is what happens when the game is against you in H2H-mode:
- Your player statistics like speed (pacing) are either leveled down to match the opponent, or worse. This also involves other statistics such as how players handle the ball, catch passes, block defenders etc. Even very skilled players of your own fail at simple tasks you know they excel at.
- The game glitches, and stops following your commands, e.g. you have a clear goal in front of you, but pressing shoot does nothing. Or you shoot but the strenght of the shoot doesn't match what you asked for. Or your player all of a sudden decides to pass a lob backwards. Hmm, funny. Sometimes you have network errors at critical moments. I played a game where an opponent was attacking, the game froze, and finally my own player had scored a goal.
- You get significantly more penalty whistles from doing nothing (or at least this is not known to me), giving the opponent more chances to score.
So there. It causes an overall feeling of "I can't play the game anymore", except when you try the next day you might have the opposite: ball almost flows to the opposing goal, your own defenders make incredible leaps to tackle the opponent, etc.
And yeah, my experience is that in the VSA-mode you have chances where you have to take a bus to reach the opposing goal, and most of the above there applies: you lose your ball easily, score at a lower rate, fail more obvious shots, defenders are inhuman or there are too many of the to get through, or you get abruptly cut off from a chance even if the ball would've landed favorably.
