Many a time it seems as if the opponent disconnected during load time (god mode players, gk kick delay etc) and lets say i close the game. It invariably ends up as a loss for me. Is it posaible that some load time disconnects are not registered by the engine as disconnects?And most of these never show up in my match history

@jobjjobj Mate - you don’t have to be abusive - i’n on here as a volunteer who is trying to help people out - I have no vested interest - I can’t even play h2h against real people because I am so far from the server that the lag is ridiculous- the only matches I win are where they are autoplaying or have disconnected!In your linked video they disconnect, which is clearly visible, following which you sprint everywhere and try to slide tackle everything … don’t use sprint in offence against AI unless you are clear of the last defender - it triggers them to actually press and attack, otherwise they will just hold off and you can skill move past them to move on goal.Same goes for defence, you stop much more AI attackers by shadowing them without sprinting and by moving into their path rather than trying to sprint and slide.Yes there are some cheats around, but to my knowledge they disconnect you and you end up with a loss, or they alter your score at the end … it may be their is one that boosts h2h, but I haven’t heard of it.If it’s a cheat, there’s nothing you can do about it - you just report the player and hope that at some stage EA sorts it out … but try not sprinting next time you have a disconnect, see if it makes a difference

@mendozzamagic any idea why the wifi symbol color feature of last season was removed? Deliberate removal? At any time in the game we should be able to know if the opponent has disconnected.. (not just the 1 second notif if he/she disconnected during the game)

@mendozzamagic some kind of reply would be nice. Else i will assume that you are delibererately ignoring a valid query..

@jobjjobj You could also assume that I am on vacation and not on here much while I am away … especially as I have posted about it at least a couple of times.Nevertheless - the question about the wifi symbol has been asked before and from memory it is because in the build they are using now, once the player has disconnected and the white symbol flashes they can no longer reconnect, at which point the game engine considers it to be a pve match and the symbol turns green.I believe it is on the list of things that they are looking at, but at it is not possible to reconnect after the white disconnect, it is somewhat irrelevant whether that little icon turns white or not.I’m not sure about your other questions - other than if you both quit, irrespective of when, you will get an incomplete, but that does generally show up in your history … I’m not sure it the TOTY event PvP is showing up in history, I haven’t played any so have no frame of reference. I would like to quit the match if i am playing a disconnected user.. if someone is autoplaying i can still manage a draw by not using sprint unless necessary..
I need a means to know that.
Making the wifi symbol turn white for a disconnected user is just 10 to 20 lines of code change probably. Pls ask them to do it.
Or alternatively, any session that disconnects during load should get terminated for both parties and both should get that 0x40000000 code. If the user disconnects during the game at least i get to see the flash message

Normal h2h match history doesnt get updated promptly for many of the matches where i disconnected after sensing the opposition is either using a stat hack or is letting the disconnected god mode play instead.

The system still has to remember that is a pvp match, to give out rewards later, so it can as well decide to use a white symbol since the user isnt connected to the session anymore.

@jobjjobj Haha - only a few lines of code - mate, if the dev team had a dollar for every time they heard that they would be very rich indeed.

The feedback has been passed on - a few times now - it’s in there list of things to look at, but chances are you are left with what you are left with.

It has also been suggested by many that if someone disconnects they should automatically forfeit the match … I personally think that would be a much more useful addition, because why should you get any points if you don’t even bother to keep the app open

@mendozzamagic And there is no such thing as disconnected god mod - the only h2h matches I can win is where others have disconnected or watching it autoplay - h2h autoplay has been dumbed down this season so that if someone is just sitting and watching it you can walk past their defenders and score.

Guess i will have to record my h2h games and show how opponents use mods to hype stats so much that sometimes i just need to dilly dally a bit inside the box and the boosted aggressiion and tackling will gift me a penalty. Also the way they charge at me with 200 physical after a center kick off.
