How to tell an autoplayer and a load-time disconnector apart?

Many a time it seems as if the opponent disconnected during load time (god mode players, gk kick delay etc) and lets say i close the game. It invariably ends up as a loss for me. Is it posaible that ...

@jobjjobj Mate - you don’t have to be abusive - i’n on here as a volunteer who is trying to help people out - I have no vested interest - I can’t even play h2h against real people because I am so far from the server that the lag is ridiculous- the only matches I win are where they are autoplaying or have disconnected!

In your linked video they disconnect, which is clearly visible, following which you sprint everywhere and try to slide tackle everything … don’t use sprint in offence against AI unless you are clear of the last defender - it triggers them to actually press and attack, otherwise they will just hold off and you can skill move past them to move on goal.

Same goes for defence, you stop much more AI attackers by shadowing them without sprinting and by moving into their path rather than trying to sprint and slide.

Yes there are some cheats around, but to my knowledge they disconnect you and you end up with a loss, or they alter your score at the end … it may be their is one that boosts h2h, but I haven’t heard of it.

If it’s a cheat, there’s nothing you can do about it - you just report the player and hope that at some stage EA sorts it out … but try not sprinting next time you have a disconnect, see if it makes a difference

The disconnected opponent will be on full OP and press even if i am autoplaying.. will do that next time and show you since you seem to be dismissive of it

    @jobjjobj I’ve just never seen nor heard of it, nor has any of the team that I have asked about it … if you sprint, the AI will press, same in every mode where they are higher OVR AI … don’t sprint and see what happens

    if you do autoplay vs autoplay you are essentially turning on manager mode - there are well documented issues with manager mode and/or ai vs ai where occasionally some players are not performing to their stats - that is a known intermittent bug and a fix will be coming for it soon.

    it’s not likely it will be given them a substantial boost though, it’s more that ranked and trained base silvers  and low level golds were occasionally playing out of their skins, rather than higher ranked card getting substantial boosts.

    in short - h2h is designed to be played - leaving it to autoplay puts way too much faith in an AI that is not particularly intuitive or consistent.

    So all it needs is one player to be autoplaying and the outcome is at the mecy of the buggy engine?

    Wth man!! Whats the point then?

    Better is for autoplaying to be removed altogether for all pvp modes.
