Yeah, I get that two versions wouldn’t work, but it shouldn’t be technically too difficult to give iPad users an option to switch their view to “cinematic” view. If they could do it for DVD playback going back to the 90s then it can’t be that hard.
So, I looked it up and in filmmaking they call it “letter box.” Anyone old enough remembers when you’d have to choose this setting on your DVD playback and it would give you the full widescreen picture with black bars across the top and bottom of the screen. All EA would need to do is allow iPad users to toggle this view when we play H2H so that we don’t play at a disadvantage.

Anyone from EA wanna comment/acknowledge this if it is indeed a “known issue?” Or is this going to be yet another case of a customer taking the time to post about a legit issue and getting totally ignored by an indifferent company?

A week goes by and not a peep from EA on a more than legit customer concern. How many other users play on iPad? Must be thousands, but no acknowledgement whatsoever. Says all you need to know about this company. Prove me wrong, EA. Prove me wrong.

Just conceded on a corner on the last kick of the game because I couldn’t see all of the players in my box on the opponent’s bottom-left corner kick. C’mon, EA, this is basic. I’m using a device (an iPad) that’s owned by millions. Surely you can give users like me a “letter box” option so we have an aspect ratio that lets us see the same field view our opponents are seeing.
