opened the ball from her feet

I was losing 2-3 in the 90+3rd minute, and I was about to go one-on-one with the goalkeeper. But just before I could take the shot, my player opened the ball from her feet, and it went out. Why did this happen?

Is this a skill move or how can I turn this off?
