Please do something about the power in which players shoot the ball

Please do something about the power in which players shoot the ball. I've had my players, as well as opposing players, head the ball from outside the 18 yard box with as much power as when a player puts his foot through the ball. That's unrealistic. I've  never seen anyone do that. 

Is dumbing down the shot power possible?
