Put an end to insane +40 yd goals

In what world does DiMarco score a 40-yd, line-drive goal on Edwin Van der Sar? Answer:  In the world of FC Mobile (and only in the world of FC Mobile!). I’ve included a screenshot from the replay and, yes, this shot went flying in the net. Indeed, it’s the second such shot that I’ve seen scored this week from this range. Another by Ronaldo was launched from open play from just the other side of the center circle—and, no, my keeper was not caught off the line. The shot was launched as if from a cannon and flew on a line for more than 40 yds to beat the keeper. Absolutely insane. As great as the real Ronaldo is, he’s never come close to scoring a goal like this in real life!

So why does EA think FC Mobile is made better by such nonsense? Does anybody at the company actually watch or play the sport. Judging by FC Mobile, it’s pretty hard to tell. There are so many aspects of the game that don’t look anything like football/soccer, but these outrageously accurate long shots have got to be the most egregious. Make it stop, EA. For God’s sake, make it stop.
