Ranking players math.

When it is 80% ranking chances, it should be rare to fail the ranking, if you are using the math that other parts of world are using, only in your math makes sense to fail it so many times EA.

  • @geri3397 This is why it's better to buy already ranked up players from the market cause ranking up 1 card yourself is crazy expensive and failed rank ups can happen and you lose all of your coins.

It might take days to purchase some players due to a lot of orders or no supply at all but it's worth it at the end.
  • @Osulis It just doesn't make sense, anyway another thing that i don't understand is why the price of ranked players that are not selling goes up, it is impossible to sell players right now and prices keep going up lol. Anubodu from EA cares to respond? I remember EA Jason years ago i don't know if he is still here .

@geri3397 Jason moved to some other job in EA and since then we don't have CM that plays the game and understands our needs. Only volunteers are helping and EA staff only responds for unsupported languege or someone not able to spend money.
As for the prices, I think ranked prices are going up because base ovr has high demand and is going up. So they probably made the algorithm to di that to avoid the price of base ovr to go over the price of ranked player.
The ranking has the same math as the pack probabillity. Last season we had examples where the put some % in a pack you buy multiple times. But each time you try the game counts as the first try so its just luck and no math. Thats with ranking. 80% doesn't stand that you'll succeed 4 out 5 times. You can fail 10 times and others get it in first attempt, because it just counts some overall percentage
  • @Sanyosa You explained everyithing so clear, i appreciate it very much. Those issues are not that bad for me really, i am enjoying this season so much and i think is one of the best seasons ever. And i have been playing for 7-8 years.

@Sanyosa on average you will still get 80% success, it is just not granted that it yw have failed the first 2 that you will succeed in the next 8

@mendozzamagic So its just like I said, no guarantee 😉
The average is not based on attempts for one player or one user. Its a general term that in average will give that out. If it was based on a user or a player it would mean everyone would just do it one by one and hope they get lucky with less cards used.

@Sanyosa yes - its just probability - like tossing a coin - you have 50% every flip no matter how may flips you take, but an average you will end up with roughy s0:50
