I guess the overall idea was to make the game a lot more realistic than before which has been achieved to some extent. Overall the game is okay at best imo as there are many major issues with the game. Gameplay aside, this new rank up system is straight up garbage. It has been over complicated for no reason; cant help but think its a way to just waste our coins. The new thing with cards having multiple positions is fantastic…..until you realise you have to rank the player up all the way to the very end before you get to unlock it; sooo disappointing. And when you try to move the player into any other position he gets a massive downgrade in comparison to last years -1/-2; a great concept with awful execution. Second of all, why has the 4-3-2-1 formation been removed…

Onto gameplay….sigh. I get the big skill move nerf.. its a good thing but you need to find a balance because you cant get/play in behind any defenders/the backline. FIND THE BALANCE. Like skill moves are not this useless irl im sorry. You could place more emphasis on traits a bit like the console version with playstyles; so certain players can have a higher success rate with skill moves idk. Also I can’t remember the last time my mbappe made a run in behind and I was able to slot him through on goal. Mbappe! That is concerning. Through balls are atrocious, passing atrocious. AI defending OP. I mean OP. So now the game becomes a longshot battle. Which is exactly what it is; finesse shots from outside the box are a pain. Its typical really. Nerf cross spamming which I must say is so nice to see but boom another op mechanic comes. Please nerf the finesse shots they are too good; find a balance. Defending is also a joke. Non existent. I then decided to literally stop defending and hold one player usually my cm constantly and before u knew it I stopped conceding so much. The AI needs to be nerfed they are too too strong. Shooting. In particular swiping. This is the most inconsistent thing ever. Half of the time the shot goes up, half of the time its driven. It either goes where you swiped or it ends up going in the complete opposite direction; please fix this. I partially understand the nerf but again find the balance because right now its a joke. The power bar responsiveness sometimes..SOMETIMES can be inconsistent too. More power ends up being registered although this could be a skill issue as at least for me power is a lot more sensitive. Speaking of power, a lot of players are now scoring stupid longshots from outside the box particularly when they find themselves centre to the goal by just tapping the shot button; the ball travels hard and low into the bottom corner 95% of the time. I have a problem with this. If allocating low power means the shot is driven then fairs however THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Tapping the shot button in the box produces a weak shot which rises in the air; its not always driven. Again, inconsistency. If a low powered shot from outside the box produces a fast low driven shot, this also should be the case in the box. Please address this. I recommend nerfing shots outside the box as a whole. AND YES, the game needs an update and it needs one fast. Corners also again got nerfed which is good but now they are just garbage; FIND THE BALANCE. Crosses dont go where you want them to go and when they do, you cant get a proper header off; I do however sympathise with the developers on this, as it is difficult to create some skill gap with corners. Nonetheless find the balance. I hate conceding to corners but right now they are too bad. Apart from all mentioned above, I dont have much to say about the game to be honest. I dont think its a good game, having played a lot of gameplay (h2h); in fact this game is probably worse than the other iterations despite the OP mechanics. But I think the game has potential and yes enough to be the best one yet. Please do update the game. Please. Because I dont think many people will be playing onwards in the future without one. 

And one more thing..set pieces.

Penalties; swiping again inconsistent.
Free Kicks; after taking the kick please QUICKLY transition the camera back to the game. Idk why this has not been fixed already.

Edit: oh goodness how can I forget. The dumb refs and some decisions. ESPECIALLY PENS and BLOWING THE WHISTLE FOR HT/FT. Again this has been going on for years so I dont have any sympathy; I think its just lazy. FIX IT. Along with everything else please.
