Second defender problem

Over the last 2 or 3 days I’m noticing that every time I call the second defender in h2h he runs away from the player with the ball, sometimes he runs right past the player, also when I win the ball when i use hard tackling my players just stop dead holding the ball they won’t pass I have to press the pass button 10 times for him to pass it, or they tackle and ball always ends up right in front of the attacking play I just took it off, when I slide tackle my player stays on the ground after winning the ball, I’m having similar issues in attack my players won’t even try win the ball up the field, when I shoot it’s always blocked, saved or off the post I seem to hit the post 4 to 5 a match, my players are also refusing to make crucial pass in the final 3rd, and when they do pass it’s always to wrong player, the same with through balls it’s either over or under hit every time.  Can someone please give a solution to this as the in game help is useless
