Thunderstruck + over terms

Hello,

when it says that if manchester united wins 3 out of 5 league games or 7 goals in league what does it mean saying LEAGUE? It only works in premiere league annual matches or every matche, for example Manchester played a game in FA cup which is premiere league cup and played a game in Europe league, does that count? 
If yes then MU already won 3 matches and scored 7 goals, where is +2 for Van Perise?
