You said it: Manager mode is useless. I don’t think there’s anyone who disagrees (including EA). Honestly, the only way to keep your sanity is to let the simulation run while you do something else and then collect whatever meager rewards you can earn. I have a 126 OVR team and can’t get to +10 FC champions either. Changing tactics and actually trying to “manage” your team during the game is a waste of time because it makes no difference. Just know it’s not you — it’s EA.
Now I’m actually curious who my opponents are when I’m trying to reach Star 10, and who these players are that can actually make it to Star 10 and beyond.
Because honestly, I’m convinced that even spending money on in-game purchases doesn’t stop my players from becoming completely stupid. Even my new 121 OVR Raul seems to forget how to play football whenever I’m close to reaching Star 10.
