Re: Network is good but in game lags

Dear EA Sports Support Team,

I am writing to formally report a persistent technical issue regarding high ping and severe input lag that I have been experiencing in FC Mobile, which is significantly impacting my gameplay experience.

Below are my device specifications and network details for your technical team to analyze:

Device: Samsung Galaxy A15 (8GB RAM / 256GB Storage)

ISP / Connection Type: PTCL Fiber (High-speed broadband connection)

Location / Region: Rawalpindi, Pakistan

Issue Description:

My standard internet connection is perfectly stable, with a baseline ping of 30ms to 39ms on local servers and other applications. However, whenever I enter a match in FC Mobile, my in-game ping drastically spikes up to 75ms to 150ms+.

Beyond the connection issues, I am facing a critical gameplay responsiveness problem. Despite having high-rated players with excellent stats, they consistently fail to perform as expected due to the lag. Specifically:

Passing Inaccuracy: When I initiate a pass, the ball does not travel to the intended target. It frequently goes in an entirely different direction, completely detached from the directional input I provide on the controller/screen.

Input Delay: There is a noticeable delay between my command and the player's movement, making competitive play, quick passing, and tactical adjustments impossible.

Troubleshooting Already Attempted:

To ensure the issue was not on my end, I have already performed the following steps:

Cleared the game cache multiple times.

Verified that the game is fully updated to the latest version.

Restarted my network routing equipment.

Despite these efforts, the issue remains unresolved. It seems my high-quality players are being penalized by these server-side synchronization errors. I kindly request your technical support team to investigate my account's connection routing and address these input registration failures for my region.

Looking forward to a swift resolution.

Best regards,

    l3pgkdcia1bv Moved your thread here.

Keep in mind that most latency issues are related to the way the game is designed, but as per the solution, some users have observed weird latency spikes. e.g. you see 20ms in the lobby, then when you play VSA is spikes to 100+ms. Given that VSA is a local game and score compare vs the opponent, you should see the same ping value as you see in the lobby for most of it. The spike issue has been raised quite some time ago, and it's being investigated.
