I'm afraid you might have a corrupt save. Unfortunately, we're unable to recover it. You will probably need to start with a brand new save.

If this is only happening in career mode, it's most likely a corrupt save. If you play other game modes, does the game freeze as well?

it happened again. now i think it's an issue of my ps4. but the strange thing is that everything else continues working and only the game is freezing while i can do everything on the ps4.

thanks for replying to my issue.

i still need to save after every match because I'm scared if this happens again and i lose a lot of progress.

i usually have the usb cable charger plugged in the ps4 usb port so i could try to unplug it when i don't use it and hopefully crash won't happen but i think it's a game problematic.

however if this happens again i will let you know.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear the game is crashing when playing career mode. If this crash always happens at the same point, that could mean you have a corrupt save. To find out if this is the case, you can try setting up a new save and see how that goes. Alternatively, you can try the following steps, as they might help if the problem is not related to the save file:

    1. Make sure you have the latest software update.
    2. Restart your console.
    3. Perform a power cycle.
      • Touch the power button on the front of the console for at least seven seconds until the system beeps twice.
      • Turn it back on after one minute.
      • Launch your game.
    4. Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
    5. Reinstall your game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.
    6. If your game supports Voice Chat to Text functionality, turn this off in your audio or accessibility settings menu.
    7. Restore the license for the game.
      • Go to Settings on your PlayStation.
      • Click Account Management then Restore Licenses.
