I got my refund

This will be lengthy but please bare with me if you are as disgruntled as I am. I moved to PC years ago. This is the first madden i've bought since console. To start off, I got the deluxe edition. I never received my 83 Josh Allen or strategy items. When I went to EA support about it, I got a incredibly intelligent response linked below. If you do not understand what they are saying, do not worry, me either. I explained about my missing items and the one representative claimed Madden 24 had not fully released (it did), then when I told the employee that their product was released, another emailed me to say "I have confirmed it released 8/18/2023."

Thanks. Did not realize I was talking to gold fish. So I go to live chat and they claim it is best buys fault (whom I bought from). Well, I go to best buy and they say "The links and codes are sent directly by the developers, we only list them on Best Buy and sell them." Cool, I do not blame best buy. It is just EA lying more and more to me. Whatever. It is all pointless because on PC, I can not even load into a game! My game keeps on freezing! Offline, online. I can not even test online games anymore because I get "servers are still processing your previous game. Please allow for less then a minute" or some message like that. Well, my last game that I got frozen out of was 15 HOURS AGO. Still processing that 0-0 result. Point is, I got my refund. I am not an avid "EA  Gamer" but this release is pathetic. No communication or updates on these issues, broken game, it is borderline illegal. You should all join me in refunding this garbage. They will care when their pockets hurt. Thanks. Buy the game then when it works. Shout to Best Buy for covering me on this.

  • @ytrfrfe223  I would not recommend anyone to do a charge back because EA can permanently ban your EA account for that and you will not get a refund if you are banned.

    Some messed up rule found in the terms of sale or user agreement. 

    Use the proper channels to get a refund so that there won't be any issue with your EA account. I'll leave a link down below.

    Thanks for reaching out to the Madden 24 community on Answers HQ. 

    First, to confirm if you are missing any codes for the deluxe content you will want to speak with your retailer. In this case, Best Buy for any codes you need. 

    If you were able to redeem the codes they provided, we are aware of missing pre-order content, and the team is working on getting these resolved for everyone!

    As for the other issues you mentioned there are a few we are aware of over on our Bug Report boards, however, if you run into anything new please create a new post detailing what you are running into.

  • I just don’t understand how there’s no time table or update or anything on the situation. I know you’re job isn’t to fix anything but I’m sure you could go to some department head and explain that people are in turmoil and refunding the game and just an update would probably save ea ALOT of money that otherwise won’t be spent with them. I myself got a $100 refund. I assume that money is coming back out of EAs pocket. Even if not, I was going to spend money on madden points anyways. There’s a lot of people who will not do that, like myself, because there’s been no communication, update, or transparency. It’s cool you’re aware, it’s hard not to be with how often that issue is mentioned. But are you troubleshooting? Updating? Testing?

  • So when is the pc version getting a patch? All I am experiencing is stuttering, freezing and crashes. Clearly not optimized for pc. Faulty product once again. Ridiculous service. Listen to your steam reviews, your game is broken!
