Pre order code doesn't work from retailer

I purchased this game through Best buy. They sent me a code for preorder items and it doesn't work. They told me it's ea's fault and can't send me a new code. How do I get the items?

I called Bestbuy today and they told me they will email a new code when EA fixes the issue. I am hoping that happens, but I am doubtful.
