Unable to disable Home Field Advantage - Franchise

I started a Franchise in Madden24 and in the game settings I disabled the Home field advantage, however, at the start of several games the Home field advantage bar was overhead please address this is...

even though i have it selected to off its still working as normal in games for superstar mode

I turned it off. It's still on. Franchise mode. Very frustrating. Easily my least favorite thing about Madden. Thought "Yay!! You can turn that off now!!". It's still on. Menu says it's off. Start a game, sure enough it's on, regardless.

Even when off, HFA is still active. This worked in the Beta and is the only reason I considered a purchase. HFA gimmick ruined franchise games last year and is terrible. Is this game even going to work right before January or is this a repeat disaster like last year?
At this point, I wouldn't pay more than $20 considering it's a broken game again on release day.

  It absolutely ruins the Franchise game experience. After last year, I only bought it again BECAUSE everything I read said it could be turned off. Disappointing.

@snit06 Turning OFF Momentum and seeing it still appear in-game is the most frustrating this I've experienced in a while. Teams are given unfair advantages and I'm seeing "Away team has high chance of blocking kicks" when I'm not even kicking the ball... EA, PLEASE LET US TURN MOMENTUM OFF
