AI will not kick game winning field goal

Every game, unless the player controls the AI, it will not call a time out and kick a game winning field goal. This has been present in every Madden game for the last 10 years and it KILLS what little realism is left in the pathetic excuse for a video game. I’ve had multiple instances where the AI will drive inside enemy territory with plenty of time to kick a field goal to win, and instead they go for a touchdown. Why why why is this still in the game, I’ve lost so many franchise games to this, please give SOME indication that you give any sort of care about your game.
