Controller issues on PC(PS buttons change to XBOX)

When playing online, I was play-calling with ps4 buttons, but one the field passing it displayed Xbox controls. I'm not sure where the disconnect is, whether its dependent on who I play against, (as i have a ps4 controller), or something else. But it makes the game very confusing at times of split second decisions, as 'X' is used in both schemes. 

Using ps4 controller on pc. I downloaded madden 24 from EA app. So not steam. When online the receivers are Xbox buttons. How do I fix this? 

same issue here, it works fine on online for the most time but everytime u go to throw it shows xbox buttons and its gamebreaking for me

Guys I need help , I’m playing madden 24 on steam using my PS5 controller . Everything recognizes my ps5 controller and the button layout EXCEPT! When I’m in an actual game I’m getting Xbox controls . So I can pick a play go through the start menu and it’s PlayStation but as soon as its time to run a play it’s all Xbox !

Go into Steam Settings > Controller > Toggle the "Enable Stream Input for Playstation Controllers"> Untoggle it > Reboot game

So I've noticed on pc while using a Playstation contoller all game modes work normally except when you play online. When you play online game modes the controls seem normal until you snap the ball and it then shows Xbox controles over the recivers head. For instance instead of showing Triangle circle square and X normally it shows A,B,X, and Y. I'm sure this is just a bug that will be fixed but it makes fast paced online games a bit confusing when you see an x button but on Playstation it's the square button

Yeah I have ps5 controller I tried but also have an Xbox controller for my pc.

In the actual game like you said it can be a bit annoying. Receiver had “X” and kept hitting X and nothing. Realized it was Xbox “X” which is actually Square on PS5.

I can easy convert inches to cm but have a hard time converting Xbox to PlayStation lol.

Please fix.

Well maybe it’s just a bug then? You have to love a wide open receiver only to throw a pick 6 on the other side of the field because the buttons are different. 

@thaibrodiedoesn't work, all the buttons are working fine, but in online games, the recievers have Xbox icons even tho you are playing with a ps4 controller, the audibles and all the other buttons stay the same, just reciever icons changing somehow
